Flynn (for this weekend)

Mike Flynn takes charge of Stockport County this weekend as County take on Nuneaton Town.

No surprise there as Flynn was working under Young as a first team coach. So he will know the players – and presumably know the players who were not putting in 100% for the ex-gaffer recently.

This does seem like a difficult challenge.

How to motivate a squad, many of whom look disinterested and many of whom have no connection, feeling or attachment to Stockport County Football Club in any way.

Whatever the result of this game (and any more games MF takes charge of as manager) I do not think any County fan will think any the less of this proper County stalwart.

So anything positive will be a real bonus in my book.
