Guiseley v County GAME OFF

County’s match at Guiseley has been called off.

Water-logged pitch.

I suppose playing at this level of football means County are exposed to a greater risk of this type of thing happening.

* sarcasm alert *

I mean, some clubs at this level don’t even have their own groundsman. How Micky Mouse is that? (Not sure if that applies to Guiseley)

I seem to remember last season poor Gateshead had match after match postponed due to drainage issues and had something like NINE games in hand on some clubs at one point.

Of course playing two and three times week after week took it’s toil on the ‘Heed’ but *sarcasm alert again * luckily for them they avoided relegation due to some really poor teams below them.

So it looks like the strength of County’s squad will be put to the test if we have to start playing Sat/Tue/Sat/Tue

Good job we aren’t involved in any cup runs eh?
