Following the departure of Matt Glennon Stockport have secured the services of Morten Bredal-Thorsen on a trial basis, the tall keeper of 6ft 5 is from Norway and has had plenty of experience in his home country and now hopes to bring his experience to England.

Gannon told the club website earlier today ‘this is a good opportunity for Morten to come in here to train and compete with Ian Ormson for the number one position’

25 year old Morten has been playing for Tromsdalen in his native Norway for the past two seasons, but has been on trial at Manor Farm for several weeks.

Vital Stockport wish Morten Bredal-Thorsen all the best in his time at the club.
