Ryan Lowe has taken to Twitter to rule out a transfer to ‘ambitious’ County, after The Hatters had three bids turned down for the 32 year-old.
Lowe posted a string of mesages on his account late tonight after a 4-1 friendly defeat at home to Everton for The Shakers – and the forward didn’t seem too happy with the security of his future at Bury.
‘Stockport is a no go, but they’re very ambitious and I wish them good luck in getting back into the league!’
This was the main message in amongst a few in which Lowe stated he only had a year left on his Bury contract and that he needed his future sorting ‘ASAP’ amid a bid from Tranmere Rovers.
* Also tonight, County earned a 1-1 draw with New Mills – trialist and soon-to-be new signing Leighton McGivern scored the equaliser for Didi Hamann’s side.

He better otherwise we will have a crisis on our hands. I wouldn’t mind going in as Stockport County’s Sub Goalkeeper however, I did once get offered a trial at Rochdale but its too far away for me to get to training in time (this was 3/4 years ago). Let me play! Add me to the squad list! haha.
BREAKING NEWS: Stockport manager Didi Hamann has agreed a contract to sign Tony Evans as a player/director. Hamann has also agreed to play and will look towards the possibility of Gerrard & Carragher to add to the retirement Scouse Squad.
No seriously now, we need some players big time. My feet are itching.

@Pato’s Right Boot : I agree with you. If we are that desperate why don’t we just panic buy for this season if it keeps us up that is. Sign McGivern, sign the guy is his name Spicer who played v New Mills next to King in CM I think he was. Come on! Just sign! I’ll do it for £25 a week!
Kremb, ha, I doubt you or I would fit the model Didi is looking for! I’ve seen rumours abound of players being linked with us, but apart from Chadwick nothing more solid. I am sure everyone is working flat out to bring the right kind of player to the club. For me we need a couple of really decent signings, Matt Paterson is defintiely a no brainer for me and maybe someone like Efe Sodje could be another? But it’s got to happen soon coz we are running out of games and time!
Oops, just been told Sodje signed a two year extention at Bury, shame really!
