I interview an Accrington Stanley fan, looking at their prospects for the forthcoming season.

Tell us a bit about your season last season firstly. Would you say it was a success or failure? Did you achieve anything throughout the season, and were the fans happy with the end result?

Surely it was a success for a club of our stature, we are still in the league albeit by the skin of our teeth.

Obviously every close season sees players leave. Who left your club and were you happy with the decision to let those players go by your boss?

No big names have left that, happened closer to the end of last season with Craney and Roberts leaving but I think we got an adequate transfer fee to facilitate both of their moves.

So obviously, with players going out, some have got to come in. Who has come in for you, and do you expect them to do well? Tell us a bit about these lads?

A new keeper has come in from Scotland and should do quite well. Also a lad called D’Sane has come in and hopefully will bag us some goals this season

Who are going to be your star players this season then? Who`s going to get the goals, and who`s going to stop them?

I would say Arthur the new keeper will be keeping the goals out and hopefully the goals will come from Mullin and D’Sane and possibly a few from Boco.

Season ticket sales help the club at the beginning of the season to stabilise the place and give it a bit of extra income. How many season tickets have your club
shifted these season so far, and what do you expect the average attendance to be throughout the season?

This sort of information isn’t disclosed by the club or if it is I don’t know it. Wouldn’t imagine season tickets would have gone through the roof. Average attendances will hopefully be over 2000.

Tell us a bit about your gaffer and his backroom staff. Do the fans like the gaffer, or can you see him being out of a job after a run of bad results?

Coley is one of the longest serving managers with the same club. I can’t see the chairman sacking him. Unless things really go wrong this season but apart from that I can’t see a reason why he should be sacked.

This question is split into two. What do you BELIEVE your club can achieve this season, and what do you HOPE your club can achieve this season?

I believe we have the ability to get a mid table place but i hope we can challenge for playoffs (I know I know, but I can dream eh??)

Finally, whom do you expect to win the division, who do you think will go up with them and who do you think will be relegated?

I think Peterborough stand a good chance of winning the league and as for relegation I cant see past Morecambe but I am wearing Accrington tainted glasses saying that.
