We speak to Walsall fan, Jorge’s Jottings, probably not his real name. How is the team that everybody drives past on the motorway every single day of their life going to do?

Name Jorge’s Jottings

How long have you supported your team? Uust the 38 years (oh my god I could have killed someone and been out by now!!!)

Five words to describe last season? As the season progressed it changed from.. Disaster, to promising, to exciting to hopefully finishing with a resounding sense of disappointment.

Best point of last season?
A winning streak that took us from bottom of the table into the play off zone, having us dreaming of the championship.

Strength of last season?
Manager Dickie Dosh (now gone to Newcastle as Academy director) admitting his mistakes and poor signings to change things and shot us up the table.

Weakness of last season?
No question selling our best two defenders (Dann and Fox)in January and not replacing them. Effecting confidence as well as the strenght of the team. This saw us slide out of the play off zone into mid table.

Current terrace favourite in your side?
We have had a major clear out so not many left, but big Clayton Ince between the sticks remains a fans favorite as does Stevies cousin Anthony Gerrard.

One player you’d happily drive to his next club?
The taxi’s have already left we have ten players we need to drive some players into the club not send them away.

One thing you would tell your team’s manager?
Goals Goals Goals we need a proven goalscorer, I suspect he already knows this but they are hard to come by.

Young player to look out for this season?
Welsh under 21 midfielder Mark Bradley and former England under 19 international Ishmel Demontagnac will both looking to build reputations this year.

Hope for this season?
Get some players and survive, however if we can get the right players it would nice to push for the play off’s

Expectation for this season?
With pre season starting tuesday with not enough players to field a team, it is hard to say anything except survival but this may change if we can find a couple of freebie players that are right for us.

Who is going to win League One?
It is hard to see past either Leeds or Leicester

Who is going down?
Bookies favorites Cheltenham look like having another season of struggle, perhaps Yeovil with there cut in budget

Where will you finish?
Without a team we can only predict a relegation struggle and hope for that place just above the drop zone.
