I am not getting a season ticket this year, I will be a ‘walk up’ for many of the Saturday games though this has nothing to do with any boycott.

I know of a couple of long standing season ticket holders who have said enough is enough this time around, and are not renewing as they believe it is the only ‘voice’ they have to express their disenchantment with the current owners.

For some the need to get a season ticket is driven by emotional blackmail. Ian Bogie needs the funds in place to build a squad. Do your bit.

In fact there may also be a ‘gun to the head’ feeling for some – we need the money now or there will be no County next season.

Whatever your feelings, as County fans we should respect each individuals stance on this matter. We cannot afford to fall out with one another.

As for numbers, I think we will approach the 1000 mark by the end of today and I would guess at 1500 or so season ticket holders by the time the season kicks off. There has been a break even attendance figure of 1800 quoted – a figure I expect us to exceed.

Mind you, our gates last season were above the quoted break even figure, and we still seem to be getting deeper into the mire.

Que sera sera.
