‘Stockport County FC would like to thank Dave Moran, a County supporter who now lives in Jersey, for sponsoring another Ticket Initiative for the game against Wrexham this weekend.

Dave has supplied 2 free season tickets and provided 100 free tickets for two games both this season and last.

Everyone at the club thanks Dave for his superb generosity as he continues to play his part in generating a young fan base for the Hatters.

Dave told the club website earlier this year:

‘Everyone remembers their first real football match, just like everyone remembers their first car. While we live in the shadow of two giant football clubs, for many County can be the first affordable experience of a mass spectator sport; a vital step in building a bond with the town. Many football fans in this region have split loyalties… I was no different as a ten year old, but what stayed with me was my first experience of a professional football match and that was Stockport County. I’m very happy to support this concept of filling seats via sponsorship and building a programme based on youth. I would recommend this programme and hope to see this concept flourish.’
