Bury fan Tom Ankers gives us his opinion on happenings at Gigg Lane this season.

How has your season gone so far?

Our season has been very poor, apart from the 6 game unbeaten run and our away form has been a disappointment to say the least. This is probably due to Casper’s inexperience

What`s your current form like?
Not been too badly recently, although home form has been very poor. In fact our last win was against you guys. Away has been a different a lot more confident; we look more like a team challenging for the Play-offs, quite bizarre really.

Would you say that you have performed above or below expectations this season?

Definitely below expectations.

Who have been your key players this season?
Andy Bishop, Glyn Hurst and Paul Scott have more or less been outstanding every game they have played.

Anybody out injured that would normally feature on Saturday?

Not really, Murphy and Brass were already out already so that’s ok. Apart from that former County player Hurst looks like he will be on the Bench and Tom Youngs will replace him.

A lot of fans debate the position of Chris Casper as Bury manager. What are your thoughts on him?

A very young manger who could have potential in the future. However never have a argument with him, if you do you will be released or never play in the first 11 again. Just ask Flitcroft

County didn’t turn up in December (well we did but we might aswell have stayed at home!) what did you make of us that day?
You looked very average; although it was at the time we were in the 6th game of the unbeaten run. So hopefully you have improved a lot since then.

Memories of Stockport County?
Loud, Friendly and Loud ( I know I said Loud twice!)

How many fans will you be bringing along on Saturday?
God knows 1500 would be a good Following.

Prediction?
I think it will be won by one goal to be honest. 1-1 would be great for us but not really for you lot.
