Barrow v County Preview

So County head north on the M6 tonight to visit Barrow AFC in another Skrill North encounter.

19:45 is the time if you are thinking of going and LA14 5UW is what you need in your sat nav.

The ‘Bluebirds’ sit one place behind County, same number of points and identical goal difference but a little less productive in the ‘Goals For’ column and a bit tighter in the goals against tally.

Has this got nil-nil written all over it?

Well County have had three clean sheets on the trot – a definite improvement over the rest of this season.

Barrow at home are unbeaten in their last five games, though apart from their 3-0 stuffing of Ramsbottom in the FA Cup, goals appear thin on the ground.

Would a goal free result be a total disaster against what on paper seem a similarly matched team?

Probably not but the after-glow of the 4-0 Worcester win is still with me so I am going to say County will nick this 1-0 and continue our gentle rise of the Skrill Noth table.
