Now it’s Pics in the Cup

So County are to face Rushall Olympic and Not Gainsborough Trinity in FA Cup Q3.

Gainsborough have been slung out of the cup, as they fielded an ineligible player (Lincoln City’s Jordan Thomas) in their 2-0 win over ‘The Pics’.

Both Gainsborough and Lincoln though are inisiting the required paperwork was sent with over an hour to spare before a deadline prohibiting the loan kicked in.

So I may be re-writing this article in a couple of days. Or not.

Anyway a look at the Rushall (near Walsall for those who were unaware) Wikpedia page says it all to me.

Sometimes I do wonder whether League Cup semi-final games, and Championship football of just a few years ago ever happened!
