The home game against Bristol Rovers that was scheduled for Saturday 2nd September has been put back 24 hours to Sunday 3rd September to avoid a clash with Euro 2008 qualification matches.

England`s game against Andorra has been moved to Old Trafford, and with Wembley not going to be ready, this is where the effect knock`s on and starts harming lower league clubs aswell.

Greater Manchester police have stated that they won`t have enough police available for County`s game on the Saturday, because it would clash with England.

This will mean that after the first game of the season against Hereford on August 5th, County won`t play another home game on a Saturday until 16th September when we play Wrexham.
