Bye bye Dolan

Joe Dolan has returned to Leyton Orient after completing his loan spell with County after Chris Turner opted to send him back.

The 25-year-old moved to Edgeley Park in mid-October and made three appearances for the club. It was Dolan’s second loan spell with the Hatters as he played 11 games for the club last season when he was with Millwall.

Did something go amiss this time? Was there a bust-up or is it a sign that Turner is a bit happier with the defence. More to that than meets the eye thinks Arthur.

In other news Turner is confident the players can build on the draw over Barnet and says they are capable of getting to mid-table safety soon.

County had to settle for a 1-1 draw at home to Barnet on Sunday and although the gaffer was hoping for all three points, he says the point is something to build on.

‘We just need to hang in there and keep picking up the points both at home and away,’ Turner revealed. ‘People who came to watch us saw an entertaining game and hopefully that will encourage many more people to come back and watch us in the future.’
