Dave Jones will return to Edgeley Park as his Cardiff City side will play Stockport County in a pre-season friendly on the 28th July.
It now means that the friendly with Manchester City is unlikely.

Talks are ongoing with Irish side UCD about a possible friendly as County will be taking a three day trip to Ireland as part of their pre-season.
Local side New Mills are also in talks for a possible friendly.
