Chorley 1 Stockport County U21s 2

Stockport County Under 21s recorded their second win of the week, after beating New Mills 2-1 earlier in the week.

At New Mills County came from behind after a wonder goal gave New Mills the lead infront of over 900. Matty Mainwaring and Darren Green scored though as County Under 21s picked up their first win off the season.

Two Danny Pilkington goals last night gave County the win.

First Pilkington curled an effort from about 25 yards into the top corner, and then he converted a penalty after picking himself up from the earlier foul to earn the penalty.

Chorley did get a goal back in the second half, Finch turned a cross in, it did result in Chorley giving the last 20 minutes a strong push but they couldn’t find the equaliser as County closed out the victory.
