Whitehead headed his chance over, Hobson hit wide of the mark and Hattersley hit the post. County kept pushing as they wanted to end their 9 game winless streak.

County had to make a change on the half hour mark as Danny Whitehead had to be replaced by Tom Collins through injury.

It really was end to end stuff, as Soares and Elder had two more chances to break the deadlock but The County defence stayed firm and kept the score level at 0-0. King saw himself booked in this turn of events as the County keeper blocked play as there was a incident where Tunnicliffe and Faggbola clashed.

Chuffed to bits with the scoreline, but after the penalty we played far too deep inviting Ebbsfleet to come at us. A couple more wins like this and I think the confidence will start to show and when we get in front whether it be 1 2 or 3-0 we will stay there. Congrats to the boys and Jimbo, it had to come. Come on the County

Great result, 3 good goals 2 of them contenders for goal of the season especially Collins goal. Softest penalty ive seen in a long while. Turnbull had a great game. Only criticism is we faded yet again towards the end. Must be a fitness and concentration thing, but we must address it or we will get punished.

Re: County fading. Below par fitness levels are not acceptable after the pre-season and ‘settled’ managerial position we have had. That would be one thing Jim could and should have sorted by now. Perhaps it is concentration? I can understand that given the young age of many of the players and that will improve. Come on the County Boys!
