Fleetwood Town are the visitors tonight.
The Trawlermen (see wikipedia – Fleetwood Town ) currently lie in 4th place. Their away record of 3 wins and 2 defeats complements their perfect 3 wins home record. Their two away defeats have been a 4-0 thumping at Barrow and a 2-0 loss at Wrexham, though they go into tonight’s game on a hot streak of 4 wins and 1 draw scoring 16 goals in the process. Fleetwood number 9 Richard Brodie scoring 7 goals in this spell. His strike partner number 10 Magno Vieira is no slouch either.
So I think it is fair to say that these lot are going to present a decent challenge. County could well do with a goal scorer of Brodie’s calibre.
What of County? McConville will be out for 6 weeks with a broken collar bone. Surely we will play with two up front at home so will Gritton feature with Chadwick?
Keeping it tight at the back will be the key for me. I don’t think we have enough firepower to out score Fleetwood in an open attacking game. A win really would be a signal that County are a threat to anyone in this league but my prediction is….. 1-1 again. Can you blame me?

If we want to push on a win would be a massive result tonight. Not going to be easy but I think we can sneak this 1-0
lost 4 -2 but the last 20 mins of each half was like the old days with county piling on the pressure esp in second half how we didnt get level i will never know but well worth the watch and at least we went down fighting. good goals from German and a lttle more care might have got him 2 more, blackburn was not at the races today, we need to keep that attacking spirit from the start not giving clubs a head start, having said that fleetwood took us apart in the first 20 of the first half, thoght we were in for a hiding but it was alot closer than it looks on paper
Fleetwood are a very good side – they have some fire power. Will put up my take on it later. NOT Despondent.
