Stockport County have got information of two of their cup games this season in the local and the lower leagues cups.

First the Johnstone’s Paint Trophy draw saw County get Port Vale at home, that game has been scheduled for the 2nd September (two weeks yesterday).

Ticket prices for the game have been announced at £10 (adults and disabled supporters) and £5 (concessions).

The kick off is at the EARLIER time of 7:15pm to try and encourage more children to attend the game (even though no schools are back on the 2nd September).

In the Cheshire Premier Cup, County have been drawn away against Crewe Alexandra.

The other three sides in the competition Tranmere Rovers, Macclesfield Town and Chester City have received byes to the semi-finals.

This game takes place on Tuesday 4th November, a 7:45pm kick off, and ticket prices are slightly expensive at £10.00 (adults), £5 (senior citizens and 12 – 16-year-olds) and £4.50 (under 11s).

The competition last took place in 1981, but in the past County have won it in 1923, 1925, 1929, 1930, 1931, 1934, 1949, 1953, 1956, 1957, 1959, 1961, 1963, 1966, 1971 and 1972.
