Stockport County number one Owain Fon Williams may play a part in the under 21 qualifier against Romania tonight.
The game is live on Sky Sports 2 at 6pm.
However with the game being important in qualifying, Wales have included Welsh Number One Wayne Hennessey in the squad for the under 21 game, meaning Fon Williams may miss out.
Going back through previous results, Fon Williams has played in the last few Wales Under 21 games.
With two games left and Wales leading the group by four points, should Wales win tonight then they would be through to the Under 21 European Championships next summer.
The other County player who was supposed to be in international action tonight was striker Peter Thompson.
However he pulled out of the Northern Ireland senior squad due to a thigh injury, though he should be OK for Saturday.
