CountyUnite – Your Chance To Face The Legends

Another update from the fantastic CountyUnite website, and news on another new initiative to raise money for the site in order to fund new training equipment for the County squad.

Sunday the 2nd of May will see a team of ‘All-Stars’ come to Edgeley Park to face off against a team of County fans on the hallowed (soggy!) turf.

The all-stars will include a number of actors from Coronation Street and Emmerdale with a full list of confirmed names to follow.

And of course, the All-Stars wouldn’t be stars without a bunch of County Legends thrown in there! Again, a confirmed list of legends in the line-up will follow.

And you as fans will have the chance to get a place in the line-up of the County fans team – and to get the chance, organiser Mark White tells me you’ll have to keep your eyes peeled as places are available from early next week. You’ll be updated on how to win places when they’re put up for grabs.

On behalf of CountyUnite, thanks for the response from all of you on helping raise funds for the County squad so far – the 5-a-side Powerleague tournament being a perfect example, raising over £1000 for the site.
