Hope it’s better than the last visit, we are rebuilding our reputation after the last debacle.
Just heard that Turner has gone to Oldham, can anyone confirm. That can only be seen as a blow if it is true. Vicman over 3000 fans went last season for the last game a Kidderminster and a number of issues played a part in events that followed, I can not see a repeat of that happening.
Turner has gone, seen it on Oldhams Web Site – thats a shame as I feel we could have done with him a while longer, at least a full season. Vicman that about Gannonn coming back in some role at County is supposed to be a done deal according to what I have heard but I have to admit I too have mixed feelings about that – if it ain’t broke don’t fix it is my motto.
Alan Lord has done brilliantly for me – plently moan but we are were we are and this Guy is doing his uttermost to get us out of here and back to the Football league under very difficult conditions, in my opinion if he is successful this for me puts him up there with DANNY.
Just heard the grim news on GMR that Sale Sharks are threatening to leave Salford and considering a move back to EP (Gigg Lane, Leigh Village, Reebock also mentioned) – low gates and traffic congestion cited !! Just when things on the Park seem to be coming together along comes the spectre that is BK. What would that mean ? a renegotiation of the the rent on EP ? A renegotiation of the corporate income and concessions ? knackered pitch ? – watch this space.
Sh+te I hope not, last thing we need just now is that shower returning to rip the heart out of our football club again. Remember how they very nearly ran us into the ground on their previous tenure?.
Sorry to spoil your weekend Vicman but it was an interview with Sale CE McKee or whatever his name is and they are clearly showing an interest in coming back to EP and the frightening thing is that Sale fans seem keen on the move back!!! Never mind – We’ll be moving to the new Shenyang County Stadium at Woodford – watch this space !!
