Gannon To Watch Carlisle

Everybody knows Jim Gannon is a manager that likes to deal with things technically.

Two weeks ago he decided against attending a fans forum to go and watch Shrewsbury Town play Rushden & Diamonds. Shrewsbury won 4-1, but at Edgeley Park on the Saturday County won 3-1.

Whatever tactics Jim decides to play on Saturday he would love his team to come out with a high tempo, like they did against Wrexham and Shrewsbury at home, knowing a win would save County.

He told the Manchester Evening News : ‘I’ll be there watching it. We’ll prepare as well as we can for the game.

‘I want the same tempo at Edgeley Park next Saturday as we had against Wrexham and Shrewsbury.

‘Carlisle have a great backing and we have a great backing. It should be a great game.’
