Huddersfield have joined the race to snap up County youngster Oli Johnson from the cash-strapped Hatters.

Johnson had a trial at West Brom two weeks ago, and Tony Mowbray has not ruled out signing the former Nostell Welfare Minors striker, while Fulham and Roy Hodgson are believed to be very interested in taking Johnson on a trial at Craven Cottage.

But Lee Clark is an admirer of the County starlet, and Huddersfield have reportedly already made a bid to the administrators for Johnson’s services.

* Meanwhile, administrators Leonard Curtis have annonced that they have been meeting with interested parties over the past week, and County’s new owners could be unveiled as soon as next Monday.

We could do with Oli staying, or holding out for a large fee for him. Quality talent.

Correct Sam. Any new owner must realise he is going to be worth more than a few bob. Get the new lot in and stop the haemorrhaging of talent now!

Rosey going. Hope not. Always been a fan of his though I think he and Jim have not seen eye to eye for a few months. Michael Rose has got magic toes! What kind of squad are we going to have next season at this rate. Get a move on MG/Park Spuds/Snapey!
