Its a pleasure

Matty returned to the club 5 days ago just in time for County’s weekend game against Woking in which they lost 2-1. As Matty returned on a non-contract basis this means that the midfielder can join any other club if he makes a impression is County’s colours.

Speaking to Stockportcounty.com, Matty said, ‘A new manager came in at Hull and decided to bring his own lads in, so I went out to Scunthorpe on trial. But their centre-half got injured so they made it their priority to bring a defender in.

‘I contacted Jim about coming in, training and keeping ticking over, then we had a chat and I signed on a non-contract basis while I’m inbetween clubs. But obviously I want to play a part. Every part, if I can!’

As Matty states he wants to play ‘every part’ in the clubs future games this season if he is given the chance. Hopefully County can keep hold of the promising midfielder in his thrid stint at the club.

You know what they say… Third time lucky and I do hope this is the case with Matty.
