There’s more to County than 3 p.m. on a Saturday!

Bangs!

[This from Help The Hatters Ian Brown]

With the sound of prematurely lit fireworks already ringing in tired ears, Help the Hatters thoughts have turned to holding a Bonfire Party at the Bungalow.

This will be held on Saturday 8 November in the Bungalow Car Park, which is at this moment being prepared by ourselves, and the Supporters Cooperative, via the joint Working Parties.

The event will be free and refreshments provided along with a kids disco in the Bungalow.

We are extremely grateful to Lee Townley & the Supporters Cooperative who have kindly donated £200 towards the cost of fireworks.

We agreed to match this figure as a first step- PLEASE DO NOT BRING FIREWORKS WITH YOU TO THE BONFIRE!

We will need help on the day however as follows:-

1. From 10 a.m to help set the Bonfire up and generally prepare the Bungalow.
2. From 5 p.m ( i.e. after the match).

Mistletoe!

OK, I am not sure if there will be Mistletoe but there will be the Supporters Cooperative Xmas Party, which takes place on Friday 12 December at the Magnet on the A6.

Those unfamiliar with this cosy public house should know it serves around 15 real ales and many bottled beers and there is a function room upstairs.

This is sure to be a cracking event and likely to sell out.

Tickets (£8 non members/ £6.50 for members), can be obtained online from https://scscxmas.eventbrite.co.uk

Plenty to go at for a fan of the Hatters then. There’s some football to be played too but more about that in another article.
