There are three available slots on the CountyUnite 5-a-side football tournament with the big prize of being invited down to Manor Farm for the day to compete against the lads in a match.

Bookings were originally closed on Sunday the 14th March, but Mark White, organiser and creator of the fantastic CountyUnite website for fans to donate money towards training equipment and the like for the players, has advised all news outlets that there are now just three spaces left in the tournament and bookings must be made ASAP.

The rules are a minimum of five players, and the cost is just £10 per head for your team.

You can register by emailing Mark@countyunite.co.uk or by calling into PowerLeague, off Didsbury Road, in Heaton Norris.

The tournament will take place on Sunday the 28th of March at Powerleague at around noon, with a group stage and knock-out round format contest being planned.

With teams entered by Jim Melrose and Gary Ablett, it promises to be a great event and if you can’t make it, you can always donate at www.countyunite.co.uk.

Thanks.
