Well done Jamie. What’s the score with his future. Anyone heard owt? Are we likely or able to sign him on a permie basis for next season?

  • scfcsam says:

Cropped, we signed him on a permanent basis anyway in Jan, but only on a 6 month contract. Unfortunately, it looks like Jimbos fallen out with him as (like I said in the article) he was even brought on and then taken off in one game. 🙁

I think it was when he headed the ball back into the danger area against Bury with Proudlock in net and it gifted them a goal

Everyone makes mistakes – PFA League Two Player of the Month should count for something. Surely he has a future with us?

  • HattersMatters says:

Didn’t Peterborough’s Joe Lewis win this award?

  • StockportJack says:

“Finally, in League Two, the award goes to Stockport’s James Smith, another young player from a Premier League club (Liverpool) who has been making an impact lower down the league; earning himself a contract at Stockport until the end of the season after impressing on loan.” Straight from the PFA website.
