First team fringe players Michael Bowler, James Tunnicliffe, Keith Briggs and Tommy Rowe also completed a full 90 minutes at Manor Farm.

But it was Dan Ellis who gave Stockport County the lead against Thailand.

Wait for this name, you won’t be able to say it, Hathairattanakool was the player who equalised for Thailand.

Speaking after the game to Stockportcounty.com, Jim Gannon said: ‘What a fantastic experience for our lads.

‘Our Under-21 development squad have all sorts of experience this year. They’ve played at non-league grounds, they’ve played against the likes of Manchester United, and now the Thai national team.

‘It was an excellent game of football and a very respectable draw.’
