County midfielder Greg Tansey didn’t train with the team this afternoon and will sit out County’s clash with Norwich at EP on Saturday after becoming the next County player to suffer from flu-like symptoms.

Peter Thompson missed last week’s trip to Brentford after suffering from flu, and Tansey has now caught the virus and will most probably miss out on Saturday.

County boss Gary Ablett along with all the staff and squad members will be given a flu vaccination jab on Saturday to ease the concerns of swine flu being spread even more around the camp. Bolton Wanderers and Blackburn Rovers have been two clubs in the spotlight recently, with Blackburn boss Sam Allardyce feeling unwell and staying away from the media and his squad, while three of the Blackburn squad were hit by the virus.

A concern for Gary Ablett then with an already depleted squad, but it’ll be sure to hit a number of other clubs in the area in coming weeks.
