A quick update on the appearance that will be made by COunty administrators from Leonard Curtis on tonight’s BBC ‘Late Kick-Off’ regional football programme.

Joint-administrators John Titley and Paul Reeves will be appearing in a quick ‘Q&A’ type thing on the show, which tonight will be highlighting the plight of SCFC and asking the administrators, basically, what the hell’s going on.

And I believe that they will inform County fans and other viewers that a rival bid is expected to be placed in by a consortium led by ex-MD Sean Connelly and Protest March Organiser Dave Schofield.

The administrators are hopeful that this rival bid will hurry up the process, while we’re hopeful that Connelly and Co. can seal the takeover sharpish!

What with Connelly’s no-nonsense approach here last season and his close links with Jim Gannon, we may be in for a smile or two if he gets his hands on the club. Let’s hope.

* Other guests on the show are County legend Mike Flynn and ex-County boss Sammy McIlroy. The programme starts at 11.15pm on BBC1. Hopefully someone will ask Sammy Mac why he insisted on signing a bunch of dwarves!
