Ward Joins Colchester

County assistant manager John Ward has left his position at Edgeley Park to take up the assistant role to new Colchester manager Aidy Boothroyd.

Ward was heavily linked with the vacant position at Lincoln City, but opted to take the job at United under their new manager.

Gary Ablett will now begin yet another search for an assistant manager.
