50% of you think that Danny O’Donnell should partner James Tunnicliffe at the back for Stockport County, in the recent poll of Stockport County fans.

With the young Jordan Fagbola having a bit of a mare at Forest Green, it may be no surprise to see the two link up again on Saturday.

45% of you said that Fagbola should keep his place alongside Tunnicliffe, whilst only 5% said they thought Joe Connor should play at centre half.

It will be certainly interesting to see which partnership Jim Gannon chooses on Saturday – but our readers have spoken clearly as to who they think should be playing!

With it coming up towards January our next poll asks which position you think we need to improve in the transfer window?

Surprised at the amount of response for a new goal keeper, personally I would strengthen the buggers in front of him, also Fagbola had a mare against FGR. So what? the lad has talent, has hardly put a foot wrong all season. How many premier players have mares but still collect their over inflated salaries every week, give the lad a chance, in my eyes Jimbop should put him straight back in the team for Nuneaton or the wee feller will lose his confidence.

Sorry Vicman I cant agree. At present O’Donnell is a far better option. Ive not missed a game this season home or away so ive seen all the games young Fagbola has played. I like the lad he has loads of potential (not at fullback though) but he still has a lot to learn. Its not so much the blunder at FGR that was the problem it was that he just fell apart after it. Yes all players make that sort of mistake from time to time but the experienced players recover quickly. I think you can over play young players. Ormson also needs a break. As for Joe Connor in the back 4, he is far more effective just in front of the back 4

NE, stand by what you say mate, you’re there week in week out. I can only base my opinion on what I hear on Pure 107.8FM. It didn’t come across on the commentary that he fell apart and I suppose Pete and Jon would probably be a little biased as they seemed to think it was a little harsh him being as they put it “hauled off”.
At the end of the day Jim has a job to do and he will call it as he sees fit and so far this season his substitutions have paid dividends. Have to pay more attention to this site I think and listen to what you guys are saying.
