Ablett After Huddersfield Full-Back?

Rumours are surfacing once again that County are chasing Huddersfield left-back Robbie Williams on a short-term loan deal.

Williams held talks with the Hatters over a loan move in January as Michael Rose looked to be suffering from his hernia, though terms couldn’t be agreed and County later swooped to sign Watford full-back Mat Sadler.

But we understand that Williams may be available for a loan spell with another club to get some match fitness and more importantly, regular ‘game-time’.

The left-sided defender made his first league appearance in a month for the Terriers in their 2-0 defeat at Gillingham on Saturday, and picked up a booking.

Should be interesting to see if anything comes of the deal this time what with Sadler’s arrangement with the club and when he’s due back at Watford.
