Craig Hobson and Tom Collins are set to depart Edgeley Park as the loan window opens today and County look to make some more changes to the squad.

Hobson had been an integral part of Jim Gannon’s team at the start of the season but recently has found himself on the bench and playing a bit-part role in the squad.

Tom Collins was starting towards the end of Jim Gannon’s reign and one of the players that splits fans opinions. Most saw him as young direct player who was raw and made mistakes but gave his all, others saw him as a player who lacked a first touch and often gave the ball away in crucial positions and was a poor decision maker.

There is no doubting Tom’s talents and, similar to Anthony Pilkington in his first season, if Tom can bulk up a bit over pre-season he could be a massive player for Stockport County in the future.

Lincoln City are set to sign Craig Hobson, whilst Tom Collins is set to return to Hayes & Yeading.

We wish them both all the best and hope to see them back at Edgeley Park in the future.
