Starting XI: Ormson, Halls (Cole), Holden (Rowe), O’Donnell, Piergianni, Mainwaring, Turnbull, Connor, McConville, Elliott (Whitehead), D L Rowe.

ubs: Glennon, Gritton, D M Rowe, Whitehead, Cole.

tockport the game brightly with a new look to the side in what seemed to be a 4-3-3 formation, Paul Turnbull returned to the side to partner Joe Connor and Matt Mainwaring in midfield. Tom Elliot started the game to most people`s amazement as the striker seemed to struggle to establish his place in the County side once more.

The first 15 minutes County enjoyed most of the possession and dominated in the centre of midfield before a sloppy pass went astray to allow AFC Telford a chance to break leading to the goal scored by Sharp in the 16th minute, this the third successive defensive mistake made by The Hatters in two games.

County`s heads went down like a led balloon after conceding a goal and The Hatters found it hard to string more than two passes together before more mistakes were made leading to the home side loosing possession.

In the 34th minute County lost the ball in the middle of the park leading to a break from AFC Telford through Jones passing what seemed to be the whole County defense without a tackle and slotting the ball to the left hand side of the young County keeper.

With County fans getting more and more frustrated it seemed as it something has to be changed in order to try and gain anything, County were booed off at half time with abuse hurled towards Tom Elliot who has a howler of a half.

With no changes made at the break County had to cary on with the lackluster team from the first half. AFC Telford had several shots but they were all easily saved by Ian Ormson. As the second half went on County took their stride and created several chances.

in the 63rd minute a chance was deflected for a corner giving County a chance to attack the opposition`s goal properly for the first time that evening. The 66th minute saw two replacements to the County side with Aaron Cole replacing Andy Halls and Danny Rowe replacing Euan Holden. The change made a immediate impact as the ball was given to Danny Rowe to run at the defense and County earned a corner. A corner came in from loanee Rowe that was met by the head of County Captain Danny O`Donnell to make it 2-1 in the 67th minute.

County looked on top and of the game and looked as though something could be taken after a demoralizing first half display.

uck changed for The Hatters in the 79th minute as the referee showed Trainer a second yellow card seeing the player leaving the field of play after violent conduct shown towards Joe Connor.

With 10 minutes to go and 11 v 10 men it seemed County could take at least a point from the game, in the 82nd minute County won another corner which was taken by loanee Danny Rowe before being converted by the head of Piergianni to make the score level at 2-2.

With the crowd shouting ‘attack, attack, attack` it was clear the fans wanted a win. Jim took off Tom Elliot (who has never run so fast in his life leaving the field of play) and replaced him with Danny Whitehead, upon leaving the pitch Tom Elliot was a subject of abuse from County fans and Jim didn`t shake his hand. (Does that mean he has finally had enough of the striker that doesn`t seem to be able to do anything right?)

With County pushing for the win against 10 mean it just didn`t seem to happen, several chances were created but none were successful leading to a second draw between the sides this season at 2-2.

Great report Josh. Not sure this is any good for my blood pressure mind. As for Elliot. We do need a new blood up front.

The honeymoon period is over now for Jim, it’s time that we now get results. Time is running out if we are to stay in this league. This was a bad result, we should have beaten this team. I can’t understand people saying that this was a good result. How can you not beat a team that only have 10 men on the pitch. I know there is still work to do with the squad but come on Jim time is short now.

I am a fan of JG and I believe he will get us out of trouble. However tactically he got this one wrong, what made it worse was the poor passing. It dont matter a toss what tactics you play, if you cant pass a ball you have no chance. Ormson, Piergianni, & Connor are the only ones that can take credit. As for McConville If he isnt prepared to put in a shift then we should get rid. Where poss we should have kept the same team we had at Braintree.

Got to the game and seeing the first half there are kids playing sunday football who have a better first touch than our lot. Second half was slightly better, however other than 2 set piece corners we were poor, the only spark came in the last ten minutes when substituitions were made and a bit more direct football was made. All in all no change from previous viewings,
