Didi Hamann has made his first official signing as County boss with the capture of Accrington midfielder Sean McConville.
McConville, who struck 13 goals for Stanley last season as they finished in the play-off places, was out of contract at Accrington and has signed an improved deal at Edgeley Park, with compensation due to his old club.
McConville will be speaking later today about the move, and we’ll keep you right up to date with all the quotes.
But for now, welcome to Stockport, Sean.
* County have confirmed a friendly at EP with a strong Bolton Wanderers side. More soon.

Good to hear he scored 13 goals last season. Suprised Accrington didn’t get a contract re-signed with him a lot earlier. Their loss is our gain. COME ON COUNTY!
