Attacking player Connor Jennings could be set to move to Stockport County on loan, we have heard.

The Scunthorpe man was signed from Stalybridge last January, but has only played 14 games and is yet to get off the mark after his fantastic record for Stalybridge.

His attacking record last season including two goals against Stockport County when Stalybrdige knocked us out of the FA Trophy last year.

He linked up well with current County forward Craig Hobson and his signing would be a big boost to the attacking play of Jim Gannon’s side.

We hear the loan move is almost complete and could go through as soon as today.
