County have signed midfielder Kevin O’Connor on loan till the end of the season from Championship side Wolves.

The Irish 20 year old will join up with the County squad for Saturday’s game at Torquay.

This is the second deadline day signing Jim Gannon has made, after he also signed Newcastle keeper Ben Smith.

  • I’ve seen a picture of him and he looks like one who isn’t scared of a tackle! Should toughen up our midfield, midfield is the one position that looks like it needs improving.

  • How many loans is that now? We’ve had more loans than Barclays Bank give out each year!

  • I make that 16 players in through loan this season (under both Turner and Gannon)! That’s alot!

  • 16 players?!?! How many is that through Gannon? We must have had alot of players representing us this season! It seems years ago Joe Dolan was playing for us!
