Thanks to everyone that attended the Stockport County Supporters Trust Open Forum and BBQ on Saturday. After a week of pouring rain, there was a break in weather and the sunshine came out to provide great weather for a great forum.

Over 70 people were in attendance, with members of the Trust Board and Club Board. The top table consisted of:

* Norman Beverley, SCFC Chairman

* David Hoyle, SCFC Supporters Trust Chairman

* Mark Maguire, SCFC Managing Director

* Anthony Elding

After the introductions of those present, Trust Chairman David Hoyle gave an overview of where the Trust are at the moment. David announced, amongst other things, that Trust membership was at the highest point it ever has been and averaging one new member per day!

Following Davids presentation, Steve Bedder gave the attendees a run down of the Trusts plans and initiatives for the 2007/08 season before David then went through the pre-submitted questions.

There were seven question submitted before the event and the senders of these questions were in attendance at the forum. After the pre-submitted questions had been discussed and answered the floor was then open for all attendees to ask their questions.

Full minutes from the fourm will be made available as soon as possible and will detail the questions and responses in full.

To conclude the formal part of the day, there was one task left and that was the draw for the signed Stockport County shirt. Anthony Elding drew the winner from the 48 that had pre-registered, and the lucky winner was Steve Johnson.

The winner of the raffle was the landlady of The Adswood Hotel (it wasn’t fixed, honest!) and she wins one of the blue and black striped Diadora shirts that will be worn in this weeks match against UCD.

The sun was shining and the BBQ was roaring so upon conclusion of the open forum, attendees made their way into the garden of The Adswood to enjoy some food, some County related chat and of course, a drink or two.
