Stockport County went out on penalties at Staines Town tonight in an embarrassing performance.
County were behind in the first half when a Matt McNeil mistake allowed Staines Adrian Toppin to have a free header into the goal.
But McNeil equalised late in the second half after some great work by Griffin and Elding.
However County couldn’t find another breakthrough and were beaten on penalties.
A full report and investigation will follow tomorrow.
