Simple. There’s a lot of furore over Simmo’s future, so let’s just put it to you lot.

Quite simply, for as long as Paul Simpson is still at this football club, this poll will run and give you two options, yes or no.

Been to the game today and it was dreadful, when you think it can’t get any worse it does. We all know last season we didn’t know if we would have a team, but we have and it’s all about PRIDE and pride comes before a fall straight into the conference if we are not careful.

Yes Kid No pride and No Commitment. Simmo has got to go now. I would let Peter Ward have a go he can’t do any worse, and he may even get some advice from his friend and Buddy Gannon. It would cost County no more either as he is already on the books. Remember when Dave Jones took over no one thought that he would get it together but I think that he was one of our best managers for some time, even better than Danny Bergara. Perhaps Peter could do us a good job he knows what it is all about.

Taxi for Simmo and he can take the majority of that squad with him!!!!!

Well the win at Barnet now seems a distant memory but it was always going to be a one off – the teams crap, the manager is an inept has been and the Board are no better – where is the investment promised at the start of the season? The squad is a mish mash of loanie dimwits who are in it for the wages only – no pride in the shirt whatsoever – get rid of the lot of them to whatever non league sunday park team will take them. As for the rest – what a disgraceful bunch of amateurs. Simpson couldnt motivate a *****head in a brewery and the Board are no better. I hope Mr and Mtrs who’s your face are better at selling bathrooms or whatever they sell than running a football team! But hey! we should be grateful – they saved the club – for what? Should have died with dignity last season than carry on with this utter dross. This club definately will be playing Conference football next season with home gates of less than 2500 so Simpson might as well slog it out til the very end. Thankyou Elwood! Thankyou David Farms! Thankyou SMBC! iTS BEEN GREAT!

It may be even worse than you predict rylester. We are losing money on our current average gates – I think I read somewhere we need 4,200 to break even BUT our rent increases in coming years. We cannot survive at Edgeley Park on 2,500 gates. Would Kennedy maybe cut our rent a bit to ensure us remain as tenants helping pay for EP? We would not have a competitive budget in the conference, we would potentially slide into Conference North after a year or so. No. This is it folks. The edge of the precipice.

The saddest thing for me is I have all but given up hope now. There were some of us who called for an injection of finance from the fans – well after that performance and lack of confidence in the manager (and board?) may would think that would be throwing good money after bad now.

I think as fans all we can do is support the lads (even if some of us want to give them a thick ear) and hold on for the next 23 games. Touch and go now whether we survive. Still no noise from the board – what is going on? Keep hearing rumours of splits in the board. We just seem to be drifting into oblivion. Someone, ANYONE, take some ****ing action!
