Stockport County manager Paul Simpson has been rewarded for County`s fine form during September, by being shortlisted for the Manager of the Month award.
The Hatters picked up an impressive nine points in total, with away wins coming at Macclesfield and Oxford, as well as three home draws. In each of those three draws, Simpson`s men came from behind.
Meanwhile striker George Donnelly has been nominated for September`s Player of the Month award after making a monumental contribution to County`s success during the month. Donnelly scored four of County`s eight league goals.
The results will be announced this coming Thursday.

    Welcome to the site David – see if you can get under the radar of the 2015 guys and find out exactly what their plans are. Don’t get me wrong – I am pro 2015 but there is score for improvement talking to the fans and explaining what the vision is!

    Like the 2015 group are gonna tell David anything !!!!!…it is clear there are limited funds and the garbage squad (in the main) are with us for the rest of the season….clearly we have quality in our team like Manny, Donnelly, Robbie Williams, Swailes (if he can keep awake for 90 minutes) jeeeeeeeez it’s worst than I thought as I am struggling to name anyone else….. we have too much garbage in our team so come on Simmo get contacting your “contacts” so that the fans can turn up to a game thinking that we can give our guest’s a contest.
