Mr Iain Williamson from Berkshire is Saturday’s referee, and his two assistants are Mr P Gibbs and Mr I Nolan.

This season Mr Williamson has refereed in 15 games, handing out 52 yellow cards and four red cards.

He hasn’t been a referee in a Stockport County match since the 2003/2004 season, when he took charge of his only Stockport County match.

On the 30th August 2003, he took charge of our visit to London Road. We beat Peterborough 2-1 that day. Luke Beckett and Rob Jones got the goals.

Kevin Ellison played for County that day, and got booked. On Saturday he may play for Chester.

That is the only County game, so lets hope he proves that he is a strong referee on Saturday.
