2015 Group Set For Statement Tomorrow

The 2015 Group will release another statement tomorrow morning concerning their bid for the club and how everything’s coming along.

The statement, which will be published in the Stockport Express in full and County’s official website, will include the following:

Confirmation that representatives of the group have been working at EP over the past week as part of ‘due diligence’ proceedings.

The Group are very hopeful that they will get their bid finalised and submitted BEFORE the 13th of May, which is the next Football League meeting. They have met with Stockport Council, Cheshire Sports and David Farms, the company who placed County into involuntary administration due to a debt owed of £300k.

Dave Schofield tells us that some of the ideas that have been emailed in have already been ‘adopted’ into the business plan, and there have been many emails offering support and help.

Dave also tells us that he won’t hold an official position at the club once the take-over is completed, though he will continue to offer assistance in any way he can.
