New season, I can’t wait, you looking forward to it? What are your hopes for this season?

Cant wait, Promotion is definitely the main aim for this year with the squad we have now, hopefully we might squeeze an automatic spot.

Who have you brought in over the summer, are you happy with the signings?

So far we have brought in a 6 players, Jim Goodwin, Andy Butler, Michael Flynn, Kiegan Parker, Chris Lucketti and Gary Roberts. So far they all seem like quality signings, Lucketti and Butler are solid at the back and hopefully we are going to have David Unsworth to add to that back line soon! I have only seen them in one pre season game (Arsenal) but I was really impressed with Jim Goodwin, seems to be a really hard worker and is really composed on the ball.

Luke Beckett. What’s going on? Bradford, York, even we were mentioned!? Is he going or will he be playing come Saturday?

Stan seems to be favouring him at the moment but it may just be he’s putting him in the shop window. I would imagine if Boothys fit come Saturday he will probably play up front with Cadamarteri

Who are going to be your key players this season?

Danny Cadamarteri looks really sharp at the moment so if he stays fit I imagine he will play a big part this season.

Anybody out injured that would normally feature?

Boothy and Michael Flynn have knocks at the moment, I would probably expect them to be in the squad if fit.

Any memories from County-Huddersfield games? I remember the opening game of the season when you won 3-2, we were robbed!

I remember losing at your place 3-0 years ago, too young to remember many details though.

Where should County fans drink on Saturday, especially those on the train?

If you`re a real ale fan the head of steam pub in the station is probably a good bet. If your into cheap beer there are a couple of wetherspoons and also a warehouse. If your after somewhere nearer the ground you could go for the ropewalk which is next to the cinema or the gas club which isn`t too far from the back of the away end.

Prediction for Saturday?

I don`t really know how your pre-season is going but I do know that we are looking pretty tight! So im going to go for 2-1 to town.
